14 December Photos: Mountain Snow and Bohemian Waxwings
Spent a little time outside looking for birds with Connor. I was able to get a few pictures of Bohemian Waxwings.

16 December Photos: Verstovia Mountain Hike
Today was the Christmas Bird Count and I made my fourth trek up Verstovia and down into Indian River.
18 December Photos: Snowy Swan lake
Sitka received several inches of snow this week. Swan Lake still had ice on the surface, but it was too thin for walking, so the snow remained unmarked by human tracks.
19 December Photos: Loons
I was able to get photos of a Pacific and Common Loon swimming near each other, unfortunately they were not too near me and the light was a bit harsh.

I managed to catch some interesting light by the cove at the base of O’Connell Bridge.
