On a Lifelong Journey to Learn my Place
I noticed a bristletail crawling among the lichens, bryophtyes, and rocks. I was not able to get a very good photo, but I believe it’s probably a Pedetontus sp. Update: the local forest bristletail is Pedetontus submutans. My iNaturalist Observations for Today
This eggshell fragment was laying on the moss at the edge of a gravel bar on Indian River shortly above the second bridge. Given the size and color, I figured it must be a thrush egg.
