Red Bluff Bay Day 5 – Paddling the Bay

Our last full day in Red Bluff Bay got off to a slow start. We had returned to camp late yesterday evening and were up even later.

We slept in this morning and then took care of processing and packing some collections before heading out on kayaks for the afternoon and evening.

We did some botanizing along the shoreline, eventually to the head of the bay, where we were able to observe a sow and cubs in the estuary meadow.

On our return, the evening sun was at our back, making for some nice light on the mirror-calm bay.
