Early Crocus

With the exceptionally warm January weather, I thought it would be worth checking to see if any crocus had come up on the Sheldon Jackson Campus. I was only able to find a single plant ready to open up during the next sunny day. During my dad’s time here, he only noticed crocus before by the end of January a couple of times, once in 1981 and another time in 1985. The more typical early date was the first week of February.
