Time of sit: 8:40pm-9:00pm
The sky still had a lot of light left in as I sat down on the porch for a sit. Days are definitely getting longer, but it also helped that clouds had cleared off overhead. Though it was not yet dark, the birds seemed to have called it quits for the night, as I did not notice any singing or calling. There was a bit of wind out of the south to southwest, but not much. I was facing southwest and could see a bank of clouds stretching from the south to the northwest, at least. It slowly moved north or northwest through the time I was sitting. (In fact, it probably wasn’t that slow, but given the many miles distance, it did not appear fast to me).
