15 February Photos: Birds, Lichen, and Snail

This entry is part 23 of 143 in the series 2008 Photojournal

It was the first day of the Great Backyard Bird Count, so I tried to get out a fair bit to look for birds, including a stop at Swan Lake and a walk around Totem Park.

  1. Apparently I needed to “refresh”– I’ve missed days and days of your posts. These are great (and the mink too). Of course, I’m especially partial to Peltigeras. We don’t have P. brittanica here, but a similar one, P. aphthosa. Keep up the great work, Matt!

  2. Thanks. I’m glad you enjoy the photos. You did not actually miss anything, it’s just that for the purposes of long-term organization (and my own compulsiveness about it), I back-date photojournal posts to the date the photo was taken. It’s my intention to keep up with them, but it seems that as often as not, I’m at least a few days behind.
