I had an evening flight south by way of Juneau. Conditions were good for seeing the mountains and waterways between Sitka and Juneau. I later learned the gathering I thought I was going to in California had been canceled (my reservation had not gone through, unbeknownst to me, so I didn’t get notified of the cancellation). Fortunately, I checked in while on a layover in Seattle, and ended up spending the weekend there visiting with my brother.
