Daily Observations: Evening Rainbow

This entry is part 177 of 221 in the series 2007 Photojournal

I did not spend much time outside today. I dropped Connor off at school and picked him up again this afternoon, but did not take any side trips. I went to Kettleson Library to do some tutoring later this afternoon, but again didn’t really make any side trips.

Weather: It was rainy with a bit of a breeze today. I did not pay enough attention to which direction the wind was blowing from, however. Later this afternoon the clouds opened a little bit, and this evening around sunset, there was a large enough break in the clouds for a rainbow to form.

Birds: There were some small birds out in the alders behind the house. I never got a good look at them, but they acted like Ruby-crowned Kinglets and were about the right size. I saw a Varied Thrush out back today as well.
