[Note: I did not write a journal entry at the time, so the notes that follow are based what faded memories I retain from decades after the fact.]
Troy E. had a group of friends in town and wanted to get them out camping on a trip to Sea Lion Cove. He invited me to come along.
I don’t have many memories of this trip, other than that we did have a fire on the beach. I also never got around to putting my shoes back on for the hike back. It was uncomfortable in a few of the sections, but the only part that actually damaged my feet was walking the tide flats at Kalinin Bay. There my feet got cut up a little by shells in the sand/mud.
Randy N. came and picked us up, ultimately dropping the others off at Brent’s Beach, but I went back to town.
