Nearing Completion of Harbor Work

Temperatures were cooler today (lower-mid 30s), and precipitation fell more as snow than rain, but there was no real accumulation. It was overcast, but I did see hints of blue sky later in the afternoon as the weather shifted towards convective showers.

They’re close to wrapping up pile driving, and are pushing to get it completed. For the last part of the work, they need two observers at a time, and I had a couple of shifts today.

This morning the Varied Thrushes sounded like they were singing full songs (at least what passes for them with Varied Thrushes) instead of the more tentative calls I had been hearing.
