Download Radio Show

The July 7th show featured a conversation with Dererk and Mel Sikes, who were in town run a family bug camp through the Sitka Sound Science center. Derek is the curator of the entomology collection at the Museum of the North and a previous guest on the show. We spoke about the bug camps they run each summer, and what is known about terrestrial arthropods in Alaska, including an update to a beetle story that has roots in the Russian era.

If you have questions or observations you want to share, please feel free to leave a comment here or on the page I’ve set up for that purpose.
