Spring Birds and a Spring Hike

After taking pictures of geese on the lawn at SJ this morning, I took advantage of the sunny day and hiked to the second view point on Mt. Verstovia trail. Along the way I was able to find and photograph a couple of new-to-me species, as well as the early blooming fern-leaf goldthead.

Later in the day the kids and I saw a bunch of fish in Crescent Harbor that I think are shiner perch.
