Daily Observations
I spent a little bit of time outside today, but not too much. There were errands to run this morning, I took some insect photos this afternoon in the backyard and this evening I got out to play a little ultimate frisbee down on the quad.
Weather: Overcast skies with temperatures in the upper 50s. There was just a little bit of a breeze and there was a little bit of rain.
Birds: There were a couple of flocks of starlings utilizing the campus lawn this morning.
When I was headed down to frisbee this evening, I saw a raven walk up the steep hillside adjacent to Hillcrest Drive. I’m not sure why it did that.
I heard Robins, Song Sparrows, Swainson’s Thrushes, and Winter Wrens at various times today.
Flora: Lots of different insects seem to like the cow parsnip flowers.
