Daily Observations

Brown Mushrooms

Today we went for a walk along Westwood Trail and into the park.

Weather: It’s been partly to mostly cloudy with minimal rain and temperatures that are comfortable, but not overly warm.

Flora: Clasping Twistedstalk seems to be passing its peak blooming time. Deerheart is just coming into its peak.

There are salmonberries getting ripe, but the only ones I saw were only just turning yellow. The ones along Lincoln Street that had already ripened had been picked.
