Daily Observations

I spent the better part of the day recovering from yesterday’s trip and a relatively late night on top of that. The weather was similar, with small rain squalls blowing through. In the afternoon the kids and I went out to Pioneer Park to enjoy a rather chilly faculty/staff end of the year picnic. On the way out, I noticed there were a few scaups on Swan Lake. There were a few gulls near Pioneer Park shore and I saw what I think was a loon off the Sea Mart parking lot, but it dove before I had a chance to get a better look at it through my camera.
