J Dan Webster
Common winter visitant; dates from early November (Willett 1914) to 24 May, when Hanson and I saw a flock in 1985. The J. and J. W. Mailliard catalog lists a specimen collected at Sitka in July 1896, but I found that it was a Harlequin, misidentified (CAS).
