Summary: Fairly Common migrant, Uncommon winter resident and Rare in summer. Best seen along the road system at Starrigavan, Totem Park, or Swan Lake.

Sparse migrant; scarce winter visitant. Two were seen 21 December 1974 (Leue 1975). Boehmer saw two on 26 February 1987. Extreme dates 4 August 1940 (Webster 1941) to 30 May 1985 by Hanson and me. Recorded on 15 of the 28 Christmas counts.
