Leptasterias katherinae (Gray, 1840)
Summary: Uncommon in our area and difficult to distinguish from Coe's Giant Six-armed Sea Star (L. coei). This species is commonly mottled brown and yellow, while Coe's is generally solid dark brown, but the colors can vary. (AB)
