Five-armed Six-armed Sea Star
Leptasterias hylodes
Summary: Unlike most of its congeners, this species only has five arms. A small sea star, the very fine pointed spines distinguish it from small specimens of the Mottled Sea Star (Evasterias troscheli). (AB)
