Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout, from sea level to the subalpine.
Habitat: On twigs anddeadwood throughout the forest and subalpine zones, in highly insolated sites (eg., on driftwood) to shaded substrates (although rare in deep shade).
Comments: Frequently fertile.
