Cladopodiella fluitans
Summary: Presumed to occur in the Sitka area, though I don't know of any reports.
Ian Worley
Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout, wherever there are peatlands.
Habitat: Among Sphagnum at lower elevations, also where peat is exposed by animal trails or stream cuts.
Comments: Usually without perianths. Although widespread in Eurasia the species is somewhat oceanic in eastern Norther America and is apparently restricted to areas of oceanic bogs in western North America.
