Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Not reported previously with certainty [not reported from Sitka area in this document]. Probably throughout.
Habitat: Among Sphagnum; on moist, peaty soil; on shaded, rotting wood; usually as strands among other bryophytes.
Comments: This species is easily misdetermined, but is probably throughout southeastern Alaska.
