Ian Worley (as C. trichomanis)
Southeastern Alaska Distribution: The species is probably widespread.
Habitat: In southeastern Alaska from subalpine heather meadows where it may be common. Sometimes in acid sites, on peat, decaying logs, etc.
Comments: The uncertain taxonomy of this species makes discussion of its distribution difficult. Nonetheless, it appears to be have a widespread Alaskan distribution (at least along the coast). The subalpine nature of the species has not been previously noted, and it may be common there.
