Sixspotted Orbweaver
Araniella displicata
Summary: Abundance in the Sitka area is unclear. I've noticed them on Shore Pines (Pinus contorta) in muskegs, and Red Alder (Alnus rubra) on a beach fringe. I've also seen a young individual dispersing in the spring, and a male (presumably looking for mates) in summer.
