I am taking a somewhat haphazard approach to adding pages in this section. Currently I’ve mostly just been building the taxonomic structure, including species pages, but with minimal information. Over the coming weeks, I’m hoping to get pages made for all the species for which I have found evidence of their occurence in the Sitka area, either by published reports, personal observation, or word of mouth. This will include reasonably complete lists for Vascular and Non-vascular plants, Mammals, Birds, some of the Marine Invertebrates, Spiders, and Lichens. In addition there will be some Fungi and terrestrial invertebrates. After creating the basic species lists, I will focus on adding more information to the species pages.
